Insgesamt hat die Insel 17 Strände mit Blauer Flagge, was bedeutet, dass sie einen hohen Standard haben. Die Strände von Ryde, Shanklin und Sandown sind sandig und bieten hervorragende Annehmlichkeiten am Strand. Der Strand von Ventnor besteht größtenteils aus Kies, ist aber dennoch einen Besuch wert.
