Fort Victoria Country Park

Located in the remains of a coastal defence fort. Originally built in 1855, the fort is now home to a wide-range of attractions!

There is a museum showing the rich history of the area, including the remains of the pier. The site also includes the Isle of Wight Reptilarium. Home to a wide range of reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates.

You can also find the Island Planetarium, which includes a stargazing dome, exhibits and is also the starting point for stargazing walks.

There is a variety of gift shops, and a cafe.

The area is also a good starting point for walks around the coast to Yarmouth, Totland and Alum Bay.
