Set along the scenic seafront of Ryde, Puckpool Park is a family favourite that combines history, leisure, and natural beauty. Once a Victorian coastal defence battery, the park is now a peaceful retreat where visitors can enjoy wide open spaces and plenty of activities.

The park features large green lawns, children’s play areas, and beautiful gardens perfect for a stroll or picnic. Families can make the most of the tennis courts, putting greens, and mini golf, while the sandy beach is just steps away for seaside fun. The historic Puckpool Battery adds a fascinating glimpse into the island’s past, making the park as educational as it is relaxing.

With a popular café serving refreshments and stunning views across the Solent, Puckpool Park is a wonderful spot to spend a sunny afternoon, whether you’re exploring with children, enjoying a gentle walk, or simply soaking up the coastal atmosphere.
