Osborne House

Osborne House is the country house of Queen Victoria. The Queen spent most of her time on the island after the death of her husband, Albert, and in 1901 died in the house.

In the grounds is the swiss cottage, which was the area where the queens children spent most of their time. The main house and the swiss cottage are connected by a mini bus, or you can use the horse and carriage.

You can now visit the Queen Victoria's private beach. There is a cafe, deck-chairs and views out onto the Solent.

The house was used in the 2017 hit film Victoria & Abdul.
