Built in 1547, Yarmouth Castle was built to defend the western entrance of the Solent. The rooms inside have been laid out like they was in the 16th Century, so you can find out what life was inside.

Step onto to the roof and cannon and shipwreck exhibit. The roof is also a great place for a picnic, witYh amazing views of the Solent and you can watch the Wightlink ferry come and go from the terminal next door.
