In totale l'isola ha 17 spiagge con bandiera blu, il che significa che sono di alto livello. Le spiagge di Ryde, Shanklin e Sandown sono sabbiose con ottimi servizi sulla spiaggia. La spiaggia di Ventnor è prevalentemente di ciottoli, ma vale comunque la pena visitarla.
